1. About Lugha Nour™
Lugha Nour™ is a free educational resource created to support the study of the Arabic language. It is shared in the spirit of sadaqah jariyah and with the hope that it may benefit fellow learners.
Lugha Nour is an independent project created by a fellow student of knowledge. Unless expressly stated otherwise, it is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any publisher, curriculum provider, institution, author, or third-party website referenced within its resources.
2. Intellectual Property and Brand Identity
The Lugha Nour™ name, logo, visual identity, and other original branding elements are used to identify this website and its resources.
The tagline “Spring of Hearts | ربيع قلبي” forms part of the original concept and thematic identity developed for Lugha Nour.
Unless otherwise stated, original written explanations, annotations, graphics, flashcard presentation, visual study guides, and the original selection, organization, wording, and presentation of tables and other materials created specifically for Lugha Nour are the property of the website owner and may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Lugha Nour does not claim ownership over the Arabic language itself, individual Arabic words, commonly used grammatical terminology, grammatical rules, facts, ideas, Qur'anic text, hadith text, traditional du'as, or materials owned by third parties.
Where pre-existing linguistic or educational material has been selected, organized, annotated, or arranged for Lugha Nour, any claim of ownership applies only to the original elements of the selection, organization, annotation, explanation, and presentation created for the site.
3. Content Sources
3.1 Vocabulary Resources
The vocabulary resources on Lugha Nour were initially developed alongside the Attakallum series, which continues to serve as the main framework for the vocabulary flashcards.
The vocabulary has been supplemented with additional words drawn from reading materials and independent Arabic references, together with synonyms, antonyms, plural forms, grammatical information, and other study notes.
Individual Arabic vocabulary words are not claimed as proprietary content.
Lugha Nour does not reproduce complete copyrighted textbooks, dialogues, reading passages, exercises, or other proprietary course materials.
3.2 Grammar Study Resources
The Arabic grammar resources, including summary tables on Arabic connectors, visual guides, and explanatory notes, are based on materials and references used in the site owner's own studies.
These resources may draw upon established grammatical rules, terminology, examples, textbooks, and other Arabic-language references. Where appropriate, sources are identified within the relevant section or accompanying notes.
The original organization, explanatory wording, annotations, comparisons, tables, and visual presentation created specifically for Lugha Nour remain the work of the site owner unless otherwise indicated.
As Lugha Nour grows, additional sources may be added and identified within the relevant sections.
4. Permitted Use
Lugha Nour is freely available for personal learning and study.
