What Are Arabic Connectors?
Connectors in Modern Standard Arabic are words and expressions that help link and organize ideas. They show how different parts of a sentence or passage relate to one another such as addition, contrast, cause, result, purpose, time, condition, and more. Learning to recognize and use these connectors can support clearer understanding and more natural, coherent expression in Arabic.
This section is based on two valuable works: The Connectors in Modern Standard Arabic (Al-Warraki & Hassanein) and Conjunctions and Interjections in Modern Standard Arabic (Ramadan). These summaries are compiled as a supplementary resource. For full explanations and context, please refer to the original works.
