إذا + ماضٍ ... ماضٍ إذا + ماضٍ ... فـ + جواب غير ماضٍ تنفي فعل الشرط ← إذا + لم + مضارع مجزوم تنفي جواب الشرط ← إذا + فـ + لن + مضارع منصوب
Usage Notes
غير جازمة Real/expected condition → certainty / expectation. Commonly refers to an expected future event despite the past-form verb. If the جواب الشرط is طلبية، فعل جامد، قد، سـ، سوف، ما النافية، لن, etc., فاء is used. فـ acts as a "shield" that blocks the past tense (with إذا) in the jawab ash shart.
